Today I will introduce you to Chris Ferguson, another poker professional and advocate of a Full Tilt Poker download. Nicknamed “Jesus”, Ferguson is well known for sitting at live events with very long hair and a prominent beard. He was born in Los Angeles, and both his father and his mother have PhD degrees in mathematics. I imagine there would have been plenty of academic pressure on Ferguson with a background like that, but it appears he did fine because he has a doctoral degree of his own in computer science.
Ferguson has done a few impressive things with his Full Tilt Poker download. Just to prove a point, he started with a $1 bankroll and used it to earn an excess of $20k. He also accomplished the same thing with $0, which was only possible to do by entering freerolls on his Full Tilt Poker download.
It would appear that Ferguson’s bread and butter is tournaments as he’s cashed for almost $8 million over his career. He ranks 3rd on the all-time WSOP cash list with 59 cashes and 5 bracelets. His other MTT poker successes include winning the 2000 Main Event for $1.5 million and winning 3 WSOP circuit events.
Ferguson’s accomplishments make a strong case for having a science background for poker. Game theory influences his playing style, and when he’s unsure of something, he’ll use computer simulations to help him figure it out. Although he likely plays a lot of Rush Poker tournaments, he’s not completely serious all the time. He runs the swing dance club at UCLA, and he can throw cards so fast that they cut through fruits and vegetables!
If you strive to play as well as Ferguson, stop searching for Amex compatible casinos and use Full Tilt instead. Maybe you can try to bust him in one of the tournaments!
