Full Tilt Poker Bonus Clearing

Written by pokercat99 under Uncategorized

For my very first post, I described why a Full Tilt Poker download is so common in the online poker world. The Full Tilt Poker download provides impressive software, a great player base, and reliable customer support. I also wrote about the deposit bonus they offer to new players in which they match your deposit and you receive 100% in bonuses up to $600. The extra money is a great way for all players to boost the bank account when they’re at the tables on Full Tilt Poker.

As soon as you make your Full Tilt Poker download and enter the necessary bonus code, you can now think about earning your new bonus. Nothing free is ever quite as easy as you’d hope, though. The amount of time the Full Tilt Poker bonus clearing takes will vary greatly depending on which real money games you play. The bonus is unlocked at a rate of $0.06 per Full Tilt Point (FTP), which you earn by spending time with Full Tilt’s real money games. For example, let’s say you bought in for $600 and became eligible for a $600 freebie. It will take a total of $600/$0.06 = 10,000 FTPs before you’ll clear your entire bonus. Now if you play cash games, you’ll need to remember that for every dollar that is raked in the pot, every player who received cards for that hand will earn 1 point. So, you must generate a rake of $10,000 before you can clear the whole shebang while participating in cash games, which is not as much as it sounds. Naturally, the higher the stakes, the quicker the bonus will clear. If you reside at $25NL, it will require somewhere in the neighborhood of 156,187 hands of Full Ring or 108,652 hands of 6-max before you get the whole bonus. If you’d rather sit in a $50 No Limit game, it will take you a total of something like 75,727 hands of Full Ring or 55,533 hands of 6-max play to redeem the whole thing. Don’t forget that these are extreme totals calculated, and that in reality no player will play only one type of game like that. Let these figures serve you as a guideline.

Perhaps you play mostly MTT poker. Every $1 you pay in entry fees yields in the awarding of 7 FTPs to the player. Let’s say you play around the $10+$1 level, you will have to play in about 1,428 events before you can clear your entire bonus. Up that to the $20+$2 level and the total reduces dramatically: you would now need only to enter 714 tournaments.

By combining stakes and participating in tournaments, you can make much quicker headway. A theoretical scenario to release the whole bonus could be as follows: 50% in $11 SNG’s, 25% in 25NL 6-max hands and 25% in 50NL Full Ring hands to receive 10,000 FTPs. This would translate into approximately 714 SNGs, 27,000 hands at 25NL, and 18,500 hands at 50NL. Keep in mind that no matter which way you decide to clear your Full Tilt Poker bonus, you have 120 days to do so before it expires. Happy grinding!
